Welcome to Pinnacles Tours. By booking a tour with us or using our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please take a moment to read this important information before confirming your reservation.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands we live, operate, and travel across—the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. We pay deep respect to Elders past, present, and emerging, and honor their enduring connection to land, waters, culture, and community.

Booking Agreement

All bookings with Pinnacles Tours are made through Pinnacles Travel Pty Ltd. By confirming a booking with us, you are entering into an agreement bound by the terms outlined below. Our services are described in your booking confirmation or invoice.

Tour Validity

Tour details and itineraries are accurate at the time of publication and are valid until 31 March 2026. Itineraries are subject to change from 01 June 2024 onward, depending on conditions or operational updates.

Important Terms of Travel

Please review these conditions before booking. By booking, you acknowledge your understanding and acceptance of these terms.

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
  • It is the responsibility of each passenger to understand the style, pace, and physical demands of their selected tour.
  • We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage.
  • Pinnacles Tours reserves the right to alter itineraries, vehicles, or departure schedules, or cancel tours due to weather, unforeseen events, or park closures.

Personal Information

To secure your booking, we require accurate information including full names, contact details, dietary needs, medical conditions, and postcode (if applicable). Refer to our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policies

Traveller Responsibilities

  • You are required to comply with all government travel guidelines and health requirements at the time of your trip.
  • If cancellations occur due to health, visas, or government restrictions, we will use discretion in applying cancellation fees.

Changes & Cancellations by You
Day Tours

Within 24 hours or no-show: 100% cancellation fee

More than 2 days before departure: Full refund, credit, or free date change

Extended Tours

  • Within 14 days or no-show: 100% cancellation fee
  • 15+ days before departure: Full refund, credit, or free date change

Credit vouchers are valid for 3 years, transferable to other tours but non-refundable for cash.

Third-party bookings: Different terms may apply—please consult your travel agent.

Cancellations by Us
Standard Cancellation

If we must cancel, you can choose from:

(a) 100% refund
(b) Rebooking to a future date
(c) Travel credit (valid 3 years)

Force Majeure

In case of unforeseeable events (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.), we offer:

Full credit, or

Refund minus unrecoverable costs

If a tour is cut short due to such events, pro-rata credit or refund may apply.

Additional Terms

Risk Acknowledgement

Travel in Australia may involve exposure to remote environments, wildlife, and unpredictable weather. Our guides are trained for safety, but all activities are undertaken at your own risk.

Travel Insurance

We recommend taking out travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, theft/loss, and COVID-19.

Alcohol Policy

Alcohol is not permitted on our tours unless otherwise stated. Passengers showing signs of intoxication may be denied service.

Age Restrictions

  • 0–12 years: Allowed on select day tours only
  • 6–17 years: Limited participation on tours requiring moderate fitness
  • 18+: Required for wine and brewery experiences
  • Extended tours: Not suitable for children under 6; minors 6–17 must stay in private rooms and be accompanied by an adult

Fitness & Medical

Some tours require moderate to high fitness levels. Guests over 70 may be required to provide a medical certificate 30 days prior to departure.

Pricing & Surcharges

Prices are subject to change based on demand and seasonal factors. Discounts applied after booking are not retroactive. Credit card payments may attract a surcharge.

Luggage Policy

  • Day tours: Limit of 5–7 kg (small daypack)
  • Extended tours: 15–20 kg in a soft bag
  • Large or unusual items (bikes, prams, etc.) must be pre-approved.

Pick-up & Drop-off

Pick-up locations must be confirmed at booking. Please be ready 10 minutes prior to departure. Late arrivals may result in missed tours without refund.

Weather Conditions

Tours operate in most weather, but may be rescheduled or cancelled in extreme conditions for safety reasons. Affected guests will be offered alternatives or refunds where appropriate.

Special Requirements

Please inform us of dietary needs or medical conditions at the time of booking or at least 7 days before the tour departure. While we endeavor to cater to most dietary needs, there are limited food options in some regions we visit on extended tours, so forward planning is required to ensure we can accommodate but it is not guaranteed. For those with special dietaries, we recommend you bring snacks along.
