Full Itinerary
Join us on a Pinnacles Day Tour and explore some of the most stunning natural regions along the West Coast. Enjoy a one-day getaway to Western Australia’s most impressive natural wonders as you leave city life behind. Our journey includes a special stop at the Yanchep lavender farm, where you can indulge in delicious lavender products like ice cream, scones, and cheesecake at their cafe.
For lunch, we head to Cervantes, home of the famous Lobster Shack. Here, you can choose from their menu and savor delicious WA seafood complemented by a refreshing beverage while enjoying the beautiful coastal scenery. After lunch, take a stroll along the Lake Thetis boardwalk to see the world’s oldest living fossils, the Stromatolites. Explore the region’s abundant flora and fauna, wandering through a kaleidoscope of wildflowers such as banksias, bottlebrush, heath, grass trees, and kangaroo paws, all vibrant when in season.
Once refreshed by the sea air, we’ll journey to Nambung National Park to witness the remarkable Pinnacles Desert. These thousands of limestone pillars rise eerily out of the desert, and there are many theories about their formation, including petrified trees, seashells, or ancient lava fields submerged millions of years ago. We’ll visit the visitor information centre to learn more about these structures before walking a few hundred metres to see them up close. After taking in the sights and scents of Australia’s west coast, we’ll return to Perth around 7 p.m.
Meals: Morning tea is included, while lunch is not provided.
Driving Distance: 420 km
Walking Distance: Approximately 1-2 km
*A moderate level of fitness is required to complete the walks.
